True Skill Development takes time, commitment, and proper coaching. La’Keisha established a program for players to gain confidence, grow their skill-sets and be prepared for competing with a professional mindset.
Fan Favorite training is for the basketball player who wants to be his/her very BEST and become a “Fan Favorite” one day, regardless of size and speed.
What ages are admitted to Fan Favorite Club?
Fan Favorite Club has classes for players as young as 4 years old. The first visit is free and our instructors will do a player assessment. Our program teaches and introduces the players to the concept of the game.
My child is a recreation player. Is the Fan Favorite Club for him/her?
If your child is willing to improve and learn, then he/she will be accepted into the Fan Favorite Club after an evaluation. During the first visit, we discuss the goals of the player and their reason for wanting to train.
Is La’Keisha very strict? Her resume is extensive. Does she only work with elite players?
La’Keisha welcomes all players regardless of their skill level but she will not let anyone waste her time. As a professional basketball player, La’Keisha is very detail oriented and passionate about how she teaches. She wants to pass on the confident and fearless mindset that helped her succeed on the professional level. She is willing to work with any player that is coachable, shows effort and energy.
La’Keisha has had people travel 3-5 hours to her hometown of Trenton, to train with her and learn her “Fan Favorite” techniques. People are constantly requesting that she comes to host a clinic or camp in their cities around the world but her passion lies in helping hometown players grow and develop.
I have more than one child that I want to register for training. Do you have discounts available?
Yes, we are willing to create a payment plan for you to get your child started and in a routine of training. Please email fanfavoriteclub@gmail.com for pricing based on the service you wish to have.
Does La’Keisha provide 1 on 1 training? How will she facilitate lessons if she is on the road with the Harlem Globetrotters?
La’Keisha travels often but she is available for 1 on 1 training by appointment only. If you want her to travel to you the cost will be more.
La’Keisha does a great job of communicating her schedule to her parents and clients. If she knows she has to go out of town one of her trusted instructors will step in and facilitate the lesson. She leaves specific workouts and game plans for her clients to follow.
The fee for 1 on 1 training for Non-Club Members is $100 per hour.
How are players placed into the training session?
Our staff will conduct a consultation during the FIRST FREE VISIT to determine the best training program for the player. The players school schedule, extra curricular activities, grades, and behavior at home will all be discussed during the visit. We will discuss short term/long term goals for the player and formulate a customized growth plan.
Some players are not ready for a Private 1 on 1 and we will encourage a group class. 1 on 1’s are better for players wanting to work on a specialized skill set.
The Instructors assess players and place them in sessions based on their skill level, NOT their age. All players need to learn and master the basic fundamentals of the game. Development is an ongoing process and no results will happen overnight.
I want to book a Birthday Party at your facility but my child doesn’t play basketball. Will you still allow me to rent the facility?
Our multi-use facility is a great intimate space to bring your vision to life for your loved one. You will be able to utilize our basketball court, and bring in bouncy houses if you need to.
Our party room will be opened for you the last 30 minutes of your party for cake and ice-cream.

Do you rent your facility out to other instructors, coaches or entrepreneurs?

My child does not play basketball and no interest to learn. Is the Fan Favorite Club for them?
We would love to talk to you about our internship program for people looking to discover what they are passionate about. Your child can intern in the following departments: Monie B. Productions (Graphic Design, Photography, Filmmaking, Social Media Marketing), Customer Service, Fashion and Merchandise, Community Outreach and Event Planning.
