What makes Fan Favorite League different from other leagues?
Our league will feel like a championship game every week thanks to our pre-game introductions, in game music, and play by play announcement. Each game is 20 minutes long, with a 1 minute half time at the 10 minute mark. Each game will be a continuous running clock until the last 1 minute of the game. Each team gets 1 30 second time-out per half, and an additional time out if there is an overtime. If there is a tie, there will be a 2 minute overtime. Rules subject to change
How long are games?
Games are 20 minutes in length (running time) or first team to 21 points. It's very fast paced with a lot of movement.
Games will be played at Fan Favorite Club on Thursdays and Fridays, March 13-May 2, 2025.
Why a 3 on 3 League and Not 5 on 5?
In a 3 on 3 setting, every player on the floor is forced to be involved in the gameplay. Each player will get more touches, learn how to move the ball, learn how to move without the ball, get open, and look for scoring opportunities. The concepts they learn and fundamentals they strengthen during the 3 on 3 league will translate into 5 on 5 play.
Will there be referees?
Yes, each game will have an accredited referee.
Will there be coaches for teams?
No, Players are encouraged to think for themselves. Teams are responsible for their own substitutions and game play.
