Coach La’Keisha

La’Keisha Sutton’s Fan Favorite Club has united every demographic in the Mercer County area. While her coaching career at the George School is blossoming, she’s still very involved and present at the Fan Favorite Club. Her extensive playing experience, attention to detail and analytical mind has helped coach and shape youth, collegiate and professional players.

“This staff’s work ethic, positivity, and commitment to Mercer County youth is admirable. I knew I wanted to build this program with coaches who cared about players on and off the court. We love what we do.

I trust my coaches deeply and they all offer something unique, something special. We have a plan for all players regardless of skill level.”

Coach La’Keisha will be inducted in both the Mercer County Hall of Fame and the CYO Hall of Fame this year.

Coach Jeff is currently majoring in Sports Management. He emphasizes focus, hard work, and attention to details during his sessions. He believes that repetition is the key to success in basketball and he enjoys watching players take on new challenges with confidence. “Get comfortable being uncomfortable” he always says. Basketball isn’t something you can pick up and put down when you feel like it, the best players work on their game all year round.

“I love the vision and atmosphere here and I always wanted to be a part of the #teamfanfavorite movement. I love what I do and I take it very seriously because nothing warms my heart more than seeing a player get better and performing well in games.”

Jeff has been the lead assistant on Sutton’s Staff since 2019 and he’s been working with her day to day both in Mercer County and throughout the country. When La’Keisha Sutton took the risk of opening a Basketball Training Facility in the Trenton/Hamilton area, she knew she wanted to work with people in the community who also LOVED CHILDREN AND BASKETBALL.
